Earl and Gary. Earl Gilette is now 90 years old, he and his wife and my parents all knew one another when they were young in Castleford, Idaho. My dad had a Harley Davidson motorcycle and sidecar when he arrived in Idaho from his home state of Missouri. Earl rode my dads motorcycle back then and swore one day he would own one. When Earl was in his 40's and living in Twin Falls he bought his first Harley Davidson, he rode them for years, many of them, even had a woman from a church parking lot come out and run over him once when he was 50 or 60 something and he got back on and rode some more after he healed up. Earl and his wife Jackie also lived in the Hailey area about 4 miles from my parents in Bellevue, Idaho so my parents and them were life long friends. My dad and Earl built Earl's dad a cabin on Broadford road and I believe it is still standing. I was a paul bear at Jackie's funeral several years ago and this photo of us was taken in Twin Falls in 2006, I saw Earl in the spring of 2007 and at 90 years of age he was out tuning up his Honda 90 to ride it, still riding a motorcycle at 90 years of age, how wonderful he is so healthy. My hat is off to you Unk. I always called Earl Unk short for uncle he was at the hospital when I was born and he claims to have heard me cry the first time.
